So I went to Christmas Revel this last weekend and got to take two embroidery classes one after the other.

Turns out she also teaches the class at Gulf Wars, so if anyone's curious as to how the class 'So you Sew and Sew' is, I tell you that it's great. And so's the teacher!

tell me more (about the classes and the teacher, pretty please)! I'm always looking for embroidery classes to take at GW! :-D

(BTW, I'm over in Meridies in south Georgia).

Is she planning on teaching them this year do you know? I don't think she and I have met, but you never know! (I'm so awful with names!)

I do an intro embroidery class (basically the same thing) but it's not garb-related. But then, there's only a couple of stitch overlaps there. I haven't decided what to teach yet. The thing that I'm "wrassling" with right now, is going to be the embroidery competition -- I need something for folks to stitch!

nods. I can't decide. I've taught an intro embroidery class before, but I'm not certain about signing up to teach this year.

I'm operating like I'm going, but my father-in-law has lung cancer. If he's not doing well, I'll be in TN not Gulf War. OTOH .... And I just really hate to sign up to teach and then have to cancel.
